GSave is GCash's virtual savings marketplace, giving Fully Verified users instant access to savings accounts at partner banks — all managed from the GCash app without visiting a branch.
What is GSave?
GSave connects your GCash wallet to savings accounts from partner banks including CIMB Bank Philippines, BPI, Maybank Philippines, and UNO Digital Bank. Your money earns interest based on the bank's current savings rate, and you can move funds between your GCash wallet and your GSave account in seconds.
Requirements to Open a GSave Account
You must be a Fully Verified GCash user aged 18 or above. You also need to be a Filipino citizen. There is no maintaining balance and no initial deposit requirement — you can start with any amount.
How to Open a GSave Account
- Open GCash and tap Save Money > GSave.
- Choose your preferred bank partner from the GSave Marketplace.
- Review and agree to the bank's terms and conditions.
- Complete any additional identity verification steps required by the bank.
- Your GSave account is now open and linked to your GCash wallet.
Transferring Between GCash Wallet and GSave
Moving money between your GCash wallet and GSave account is instant. Tap Transfer to GSave to move funds from your wallet to your savings account, or tap Transfer to GCash to bring funds back. There is no lock-in period — your money is accessible whenever you need it.
Funds in GSave are covered by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) up to PHP 500,000 per depositor per bank, providing an added layer of security.
How to Maximize GSave
Regularly transfer idle funds from your GCash wallet to GSave so your money earns interest. Compare the interest rates offered by different bank partners in the GSave Marketplace and choose the one that best matches your goals.
